How do you know Jason: Through my Dad, Eddie Shickel
As a young boy, Devin grew up watching his Dad, Eddie Shickel take on tracks in the Midwest. He grew up loving racing. As a youngster, Devin was able to remember qualifing times and finishes of his favorite drivers at many of their races.
Devin started out on the Feger crew with limited responsibilites. Each passing year he has gained experience and additional duties in the pit.

Q: When did you become a crew member?
A: February 2008.
Q: What's been your favorite moment in racing?
A: First time every going to Eldora, there isn't anything else like it.

Q: When did you become a crew member?
A: Pretty much since Jason started driving late models.
I've stayed at Feger's during the summer since I was 12 years old.
I really started helping more on the car when I was 15 and have done so ever since. Each year my goal is to learn more about racing and become a better crew member
Q: What's been your favorite moment in racing?
A: Transferring into the 2007 World 100 through the heat race.
Q: Anything you hate working on in the pits?
A: Adjusting people's attitudes.
Q: What's your favorite thing to work on in the pits?
A: My appetite :)
Q: Who's your favorite all time driver and whose your favorite current driver?
A: For my all time favorite, I'm going to go with Charlie Swartz. Babb is my current favorite to watch, he's hammer down.
Q: How many speeding tickets have you gotten over the years?
A: ZERO!
Q: Anything about you or the team that most people don't know.
A: That we have a team owned silkscreen business that is called Absolute Apparel. Plus, we've created a new line of Fight Gear called Natural Selection. You can check out the website: www.naturalselectionclothing.com. Both businesses are just getting started, so hopefully they'll keep growing.
