In 2007, Jason Feger had the rare opportunity to partner with childhood hero, Bob Pierce and race a Pierce Racecar. Jason proved that Pierce chassis could win.
Feger won the 2007track championship at one of his favorite tracks, Kamp Motorspeedway to honor his late Grandfather's memory. In addition to winning the track championship, Feger finished fifth in the overall UMP standings and won the Indiana State championship.
Feger and his brother Austin fulfilled another childhood dream by following most of the UMP Summernationals, the most grueling schedule on dirt. The tumbling dice of the #25 won six features in 2007. Feger was also featured on the Speed Channel during the broadcast of Lucas Oil's LaSalle race. He also was featured in a 2007 issue of Dirt Late Model Magazine.
The highlight of the year was racing side by side Scott Bloomquist in a qualifying heat for the World 100 at Eldora Speedway. Feger gain a transfer spot and was able to compete in the 2007 World 100.
Other highlights include winning Macon Speedways 60th Anniversary and Kankakee's Springfest.
Jason Feger received his nickname "The Highside Hustler" from his preference to run the highside of the track and braking off right side spoilers by grazing the walls of the track. Through the years, Feger has proven to be a threat on any groove of the track. Feger is also called "Dice Man" and his car is often referred to as the "Tumbling Dice" Feger Racing never backs down from the competition and plans to continue to improve.

Q & A's
Q: How many years you been racing?
A: Started in 2001 in a late model, before that 4 years in a sportsman. I got a much later start than most drivers, I started driving when I was 18 in Sportsman cars. That first year, we only competed in two races before my motor blew, and my Grandpa had to have major by-pass surgery. The next year we only raced 6 times.
Q: Why the dice on the car?
A: Something different. Austin and I came up with the idea and it took us a couple of years to talk our graphics person into doing it.
Q: What's been your proudest or favorite racing moment?
A: Gaining a transfer spot to World 100.
Q: Who's your favorite all time driver and whose your favorite current driver?
A: Bob Pierce has been my all time favorite driver since I was a little boy. Gotta go for Shannon Babb -- he's at the top of his game.
Q: What subject did you like the least the least in high school?
A: English
Q: Who's your hero and why?
A: My Grandpa -- he taught us never to give up, to use our heads and think, just because you don't have as much money as the other guy, it doesn't mean you can't beat him on the track.
His world revolved around racing and his family.
Q: How many speeding tickets have you gotten over the years?
A: Geeez -- lots. When I was sixteen I had like six in only a few months, our car insurance went sky high, so I became more careful and quite a bit smarter.
Q: What do you do a few minutes before a race?
A: Usually putting tires on the car.
Q: What's your racing goals?
A: Win the World 100 and race full-time.
Q: Who really left the hood up on your AMX, you or Austin.
A: That's still a sore subject, from my point of view Austin.
Q: Anything about you or your team that most people don't know.
A: How much racing is a team sport, a community of sorts. We depend on the advertisers and fan support to keep racing. The guys are in the garage working late nearly every night. This year Austin, Devin, Posio & Cowboy are always working on the car. We have a huge racing party every year, all of our friends, I mean all of them from all over come and support the team.
When the fans buy shirts from us, it helps so much, it helps pay for our tires, fuel and all everything else. Austin and I've had so many friends help us over the years. It's amazing how many guys have worked on the car over the years, they usually will still stop by and see how we're doing or show up for the bigger races during the year.
Plus we're lucky to have additional people supporting us now. There have been kids and families, who have followed us since we raced a sportsman car. I absolutely want to run good for them!
