Jason Feger tops MARS' Sycamore Showcase
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (08/11/25) – Jason Feger made his second trip of the season to Sycamore Speedway’s Victory Lane over the weekend, scoring a $5,000 MARS Late Model Championship Series triumph.
Feger led all 40 laps in Friday’s feature to collect his 31st career MARS victory, tying Jason Stovall for third on the series’ all-time wins list.
"This place (was) a little bottom-dominant tonight, but I could get out and roll that middle really well," Feger said. "There's a few little tricks to it and you gotta have a really good car and we were able to do that here in the Summer Nationals, too. We've just got a really good package for this track right here."
Feger’s weekend began with a strong performance in Friday’s Sycamore Showcase, where he qualified second-fastest and won his heat race. From the pole in the 40-lap main event, he controlled the pace from start to finish to secure his 11th victory of the 2025 campaign.
On Saturday, Feger traveled to Macon Speedway for the $10,000-to-win KerbyStrong event. He advanced to the A-Main with a runner-up finish in his heat, then started on the pole for the 50-lapper. Feger led during two separate stretches, laps 1–12 and 14–20, before crossing the line in fifth.
The Bloomington, Ill., driver holds a five-point advantage over Ryan Unzicker atop the latest MARS standings.
