Jason Feger Adds MARS Victory at Kankakee Motor Speedway

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (08/26/25) – Jason Feger continued his winning ways over the weekend, scoring his 12th victory of the season with a $5,000 triumph in Friday’s Big Daddy Scrap 40 at Kankakee Motor Speedway.

The win was Feger’s 32nd career MARS Late Model Championship Series victory, moving him into third on the tour’s all-time wins list.

“The track was a little tricky tonight, it didn’t feel like it had as much grip as normal. I think we just maybe missed the setup a little bit, but it was good enough,” Feger said. “My raceceiver quit working there, that’s always frustrating and I knew Shannon (Babb) must’ve been good, he started pretty far back and up to second, so I wasn’t quite sure where he was running either.”

Feger outdueled Mike Spatola and Babb in the 40-lapper to secure the points-boosting win.

The Illinois driver returned to action Saturday at Red Hill Raceway, racing to a second-place finish in the $5,000-to-win Red Hill Rumble feature. He joined winner Tony Jackson Jr. with third-place finisher Shannon Babb joining the podium.

With the weekend’s results, Feger extended his advantage to 65 points atop the MARS standings.
