Jason Feger goes back-to-back at Farmer City and Highland
Week Three of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals began with a consistent start for Jason Feger, as the Illinois native notched a pair of top-10 finishes before surging to back-to-back victories later in the week.
After finishing ninth in Tuesday night’s opener at Springfield Raceway in Missouri and sitting idle Wednesday due to a rainout at Tri-City Speedway, Feger returned Thursday with a seventh-place showing in the prestigious Herald & Review 100 at Macon Speedway.
Momentum fully swung in Feger’s favor on Friday at Farmer City Raceway, where he outran 2024 Hell Tour champion Tyler Erb to earn his 33rd career DIRTcar Summer Nationals victory.
Feger backed it up in dominant fashion on Saturday, cruising to a $10,000 triumph in the 40-lap main event at Highland Speedway. The feat made him the first driver in 13 years to post back-to-back Hell Tour wins.
He capped the week with a runner-up finish Sunday at Clarksville Speedway, in what was declared the final DIRTcar Summer Nationals event at the Tennessee oval.
Jason finished second in the Week Three point standings.
