Pair of podiums at Peoria and Coles County

Jason Feger returned to Peoria Speedway over the weekend piloting his Titan Industries No. 25 Late Model for the 70th annual Illinois State Championships.

After charging from the tail of his B-Main to finish second, Feger carried that momentum into the 50-lap feature, passing 15 cars to score an impressive runner-up finish.

He nearly matched that result in Sunday’s $10,000-to-win Road to the Dome event at Coles County Speedway, advancing two positions to finish third. He joined race winner Mike Spatola and runner-up Brandon Sheppard on the podium.
