Feger Crowned DIRTcar National Champion; Wins Fall Nationals Opener at Lincoln

Before the weekend even began, Jason Feger had reason to celebrate. Hot off securing his third consecutive MARS Championship, the Bloomington, IL driver added yet another accomplishment to his already impressive season, officially being crowned the DIRTcar National Champion for the third straight year as he arrived at Lincoln Speedway for the DIRTcar Fall Nationals.

The doubleheader weekend began Friday, where Feger set the tone early with the third-fastest qualifying time and a heat race victory. He then outdueled polesitter Jake Little in the 30-lap feature to secure a $2,000 preliminary win—his 16th triumph of the season.

However, Feger’s bid for back-to-back DIRTcar Fall Nationals titles at Lincoln was cut short on Saturday, as Mother Nature claimed the finale.
