Feger opens MARS campaign at Brownstown and Peoria
Jason Feger kicked off his MARS Late Model Championship Series campaign this past weekend, as the three-time defending champion opened the tour’s 2026 season at Brownstown Bullring for the Seivers JCB Diggin’ Dirt 40.
After contact on lap nine sent him to the tail, Feger slowed five laps later and ultimately retired with heavy nose damage to his No. 25 machine.
Returning to action Saturday at Peoria Speedway for the Garry Swibold Memorial, Feger rebounded with a heat race victory and followed it up with a ninfth-place finish in the $5,098-to-win finale.
